About Maveriko

Maveriko is a free tool that scores any public web page on traditional SEO and on GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) — how easily AI answer engines can read, trust and cite it. It is a product from the stable of Brand Vibe Consulting (brandvibe.co.in), the AI-led growth consultancy, and was built by .

The MaverikoBot user agent

When you audit a URL, our server fetches that page once with the user agent MaverikoBot/1.0. The bot behaves conservatively:

  • It fetches only the page you asked for, plus robots.txt and the sitemap location.
  • It reads at most 2 MB per page and gives up after a short timeout.
  • It runs only when a person requests an audit — it never crawls on its own.
  • It never fetches private addresses, non-standard ports, or non-HTTP protocols.

To block it, add this to your robots.txt (audits of your site will then report what other crawlers see — a blocked fetch):

User-agent: MaverikoBot
Disallow: /

What we will and will not claim

Three different things get sold under one banner in this category, and Maveriko keeps them separate on purpose. SEO Health is whether search engines can crawl and understand a page. AI Readiness is whether that page is structured so an answer engine could retrieve and quote it. AI visibility — whether ChatGPT or Perplexity actually cite you today — is a fourth thing that changes per model, per prompt and per week.

We measure the first two and we do not claim the third. Any tool that reads your HTML and returns a “ChatGPT visibility score” is inferring an outcome from a readiness signal. That inference may often be directionally right, but presenting it as a measurement is the thing we are not willing to do, and it is why our score is lower than some rivals’ on the same page.

The same principle governs the rest of the engine. Every check cites the published guidance it is based on, the full weighting is on the methodology page, and a check that cannot be evaluated returns “not measurable” rather than a failing grade — because blaming a site for our blind spot is worse than admitting the blind spot. There is no traffic, keyword-volume or backlink data anywhere in the product: those require paid crawls we do not run, and inventing them would be the easiest way to make the score meaningless.

How it is built

Maveriko is keyless by design. Entity lookups go to the public Wikipedia and Wikidata APIs, the page fetch is a plain HTTP request, and the browser tools under Toolbox run entirely on your device — nothing you paste into them is transmitted anywhere. That constraint keeps the free tier genuinely free rather than trial-shaped, and it means an audit costs us bandwidth rather than per-query fees.
